1. Overview

Welcome to Kanine Games! This Privacy Policy explains what information we and our service providers process, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

Our games have different features and use different services. References to purchases, advertising, cloud saves, notifications, and other features apply only to games that include them.

Using our games does not, by itself, provide consent to optional tracking. Where consent is required, we request it through the appropriate in-game or device permission flow.

2. Information We Collect and Process

Depending on the game and the features you use, we and our service providers may process:

  • Device and technical information, such as operating system, app version, language, IP address, installation identifiers, and device identifiers where permitted.

  • Purchase information, such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, receipts or purchase tokens, purchase dates, purchase status, and access to purchased content.

  • Game information, such as progress, scores, achievements, preferences, virtual currency balances, and records needed to synchronize saves or deliver purchases.

  • Advertising information, such as ad impressions, interactions, applicable advertising identifiers, and consent or privacy choices.

  • Notification information, such as installation identifiers, notification tokens, and permission status.

  • Support information, such as your email address, correspondence, and information you provide when requesting assistance.

Some information may be associated with an app-generated customer identifier or a supported platform account. An identifier that does not contain your name does not necessarily make the associated information anonymous.

Payments made through an app store are processed by that store. We do not receive your full payment-card details through our in-app purchase integrations.

3. How We Use Information

We use information, as applicable, to operate our games, provide their features, verify and deliver purchases, restore eligible purchases, maintain supported cloud saves, deliver notifications and configuration updates, display advertising, review purchase and revenue reports, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity. This may include performing our agreement with you, obtaining consent for activities that require consent, complying with legal obligations, or pursuing legitimate interests where permitted, such as proportionate security, fraud prevention, and service administration.

4. Third-Party Services

Some of our games use one or more of the following services. Not every service is included in every game.

  • RevenueCat

Some of our games use RevenueCat to verify purchases and manage access to purchased content. RevenueCat processes customer identifiers, purchase receipts or tokens, transaction details, entitlement information, and related technical information.

We use these records to deliver purchased content, restore eligible purchases, prevent duplicate purchase delivery, provide support, and review purchase and revenue reports. Eligible purchases made before a change of purchase provider may be synchronized when you update, open the game, or restore purchases.

  • Unity Services and LevelPlay

Some of our games use Unity in-app purchasing services for purchase functionality or Unity LevelPlay, formerly ironSource, to display advertisements.

Advertising services and their configured partners may process device information, IP addresses, ad interactions, and advertising identifiers where permitted, subject to applicable privacy choices.

  • Firebase

Some of our games use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications or Firebase Remote Config to deliver game settings, content, and feature configuration. These services may process installation identifiers, notification tokens, and technical information needed for their operation.

Notifications and configuration services are separate from gameplay analytics. The Firebase features used depend on the particular game.

  • Google Play Games, Apple Game Center, and Cloud Saves

Some of our games use Google Play Games, Apple Game Center, or supported platform cloud-save services.

The features available depend on the game, your platform account, your settings, and the services supported by your device.

Some providers process information on our behalf. App stores and other providers may also process information independently under their own policies. These policies supplement our notice and do not replace our responsibility for processing under our control.

5. Advertising Consent and Privacy Choices

Some of our games display advertisements. Where required, we request your consent or privacy choices before eligible advertising begins.

Depending on your location and the game, you may revisit these choices through Settings, Privacy, Advertising Privacy, or a similarly named control.

In applicable US jurisdictions, these controls may include opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. Disclosures to advertising partners may fall within these legal definitions even when information is not exchanged for money.

We apply applicable consent and opt-out choices to the relevant advertising services. Where required by law, we honor supported privacy preference signals received through the game or its consent platform.

On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission is requested separately when applicable. Declining that permission does not authorize access to Apple’s advertising identifier or tracking that requires its approval.

Privacy choices may affect which advertisements are available. Declining consent does not necessarily remove every advertisement, and in some circumstances advertisements may be unavailable.

6. Notifications

Some of our games offer local reminders or remote push notifications. You can control notification permission through your device settings.

7. How Information Is Shared

We disclose information to service providers as needed to operate the relevant game features described in this policy.

We may also disclose information to comply with legal requirements, investigate fraud or security incidents, protect our services or others’ rights, or complete a business transfer subject to applicable legal protections.

Advertising disclosures remain subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Purchase verification and cloud-save processing are separate from advertising choices.

8. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

Information may be stored on your device and by the service providers used by the game. Cloud saves and purchase records are not necessarily stored only on your device.

Providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards. You may contact us for information about safeguards applicable to processing under our control.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. These purposes may include maintaining purchased access and supported saves, resolving purchase delivery issues, preventing fraud, responding to requests, and meeting legal obligations.

Retention periods depend on the information, its purpose, the duration of the relevant service, and applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Deleting a game may remove local information but does not automatically erase cloud saves, store purchase history, or service-provider records. You may request deletion, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

You may also have rights to data portability, to use an authorized agent, to appeal a decision about a privacy request, or to complain to a privacy regulator.

We may ask for proportionate information needed to verify your request and locate the relevant records. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any applicable limitations. We coordinate with our service providers where necessary.

Withdrawing permission for a particular feature may affect that feature’s availability.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our games and services covered by this policy are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of applicable law.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through one of our games, contact us at kaninegamesofficial@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We encourage parents and guardians to supervise children’s online activities and use device parental controls. Additional protections for children or teenagers may apply depending on their location and the service involved.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy when our services or practices change. We will publish the updated policy with a revised effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
